It was my first time dining here with my husband, we were really impressed with this spot. Food and service alike were phenomenal; our server, Ny, was very hospitable and tended to our needs in timely fashion despite how hectic the evening already seemed. She suggested some really standout dishes, namely the Mango Tango and Lobster Cream Udon to be specific! Overall, we had a wonderful first experience with this restaurant and we really appreciate the warm embrace from the staff and management. We got very lucky this time around, but if you're planning on coming on a Friday or a weekend at night, I would advise to reserve a table online!

Went for a business lunch this week and we were all really impressed with the place. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed with the stunning decor and inviting atmosphere. The service was truly exceptional—every staff member was warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure a great dining experience. The management is equally fantastic, making sure every guest feels valued, they truly set the bar high. If you’re looking for a place with an incredible ambiance, top-tier service, and a team that genuinely cares about your experience, this is the place to be. I can’t recommend it enough!

We just moved to Edmonton. It's been a long moving day. And we found the restaurant near our place. The staff named Ny, took care of us and made us feel so welcome. The food is amazing. I love the roll menu. Definitely go again!

Top 3 sushi/Japanese cuisine in Edmonton. More fusion and modern than the other two. The rolls are excellent, more unique and 'worth it' than the sashimi or nigiri as the other places in my top 3 do a better nigiri. The other side dishes are well done. And they're quite accommodating of allergies! The miso is very strong, fermented heavily, rich. Can pretty easily run up 100-200 for 2 to 4 people at dinner though. Well worth it.

Best sushi in Edmonton! We’ve been to quite a few places and the presentation and flavour explosion of the food is REAL!! The ambiance is relaxing and spacious, and there’s a huge menu selection. Highly recommend the tuna nachos! Great selection of Japanese beers too. Service was a bit slow, especially considering it was a weekday but worth the wait!

Food and service was great. It was our third time here after finding Japonais Bistro this year, we keep returning because it’s so delicious. We had the platter for two and 6 pieces of sashimi and that was plenty of food for two. The arrangement of the platter is a nice visual experience and an explosion of flavor (Truffle Fry makimono is so yummy!). Prices are reasonable. There is something about the atmosphere though that stops it from feeling like a fancier dining experience. We will be back!

Went for dinner this evening. I found that the food was very fresh and flavourful. The service was fast, friendly and efficient. The love crunch roll was incredible and the sashimi was very very delicious.
